Here at JaySan Gas Service, our family history in the propane industry proves our commitment to serving our local community with the highest standard of quality home comfort service. The story of JaySan Gas begins before our founding in 1976 with another propane company, Freetown Gas and Appliance.  Freetown Gas and Appliance was established in 1959 by Sandy Plissey’s parents, Velma and Keene Dunham.  In 1964, Jay Plissey began his propane career working for his in-laws. After 15 years in the business, Freetown Gas and Appliance relinquished their franchise to Petrolane™.  In 1976, seeing the need for another local propane provider in the area, Jay and Sandy set out to form JaySan Gas Service. In the early days of business, Jay and Sandy worked hard knocking on doors and relying on the recommendation of friends and family to grow the company.  Since 1976, JaySan Gas developed into a full-scale propane company with a fleet of four delivery trucks, three service trucks, and a tractor-trailer to haul propane into our storage facility. As a full-service propane provider, we offer complete propane equipment installation and service, excavation for underground tanks and lines, limited appliance sales, natural gas and light plumbing work, and rehab (blasting, repainting, and requalifying) of propane tanks.  While our business has expanded on pace with the growing propane industry, we still uphold the same level of prompt, consistent, and friendly customer service established back in 1959. JaySan Gas provides automatic delivery to all of our customers. With over 40 years of experience backed with delivery scheduling technology, your propane supply is in good hands. Our experienced team dedicates individual attention to each account to ensure delivery efficiency to your home and to schedule deliveries to meet your propane needs. Automatic delivery decreases the risks involved with running out of propane and provides peace of mind that JaySan Gas will be there to deliver when you need it most.

24-Hour Emergency Service

Don’t get left out in the cold. JaySan Gas emergency service technicians are available around the clock to diagnose and repair system malfunctions. Should you run out of propane or run into a serious equipment issue, simply give us a call. One of our highly trained technicians will respond to get your propane-fired system up and running.  “Emergency” is defined as: a gas leak, gas smell, no heat during winter months, or other situations deemed a threat to life or property. Non-emergency service calls will be made on the next business day.  24-hour coverage is available for all active customers with existing automatic delivery propane accounts.  Emergency afterhours service rates may apply. Propane Tank Monitoring

Here at JaySan Gas Service, we have the tools to make managing your fuel supply easier than ever. With our tank monitoring equipment in place, you will never worry about running out of propane again!  Tank monitors make the benefits of automatic fuel delivery even better. The device can be installed on almost any propane tank with an existing gauge. Then, it will read your tank gauge regularly throughout the day and transmit the fuel level data back to our office. This way your propane deliveries are always made on schedule with the demands of your fuel usage. The device can also sync to an app on your smartphone, so you can easily view your fuel usage, delivery history, and current tank level. It’s that simple!
