Headquartered in Bradford, Pennsylvania, Minard Run Oil Company (MROC) is the largest producer of natural gas in New York State and one of the largest oil producers in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. With a strategic focus on conventional operations and development, MROC expanded their footprint in the Appalachian Basin four-fold with two significant acquisitions in 2016-17. With a successful integration of operations and instilling efficiencies within each District, MROC has reduced lifting costs by 67% even amidst rising vendor costs and stricter regulations.
MROC currently operates over 2,200 wells and nearly 300 miles of midstream pipelines and facilities.
Established in 1875 by Senator Lewis Emery Jr., Minard Run Oil Company is currently owned, operated and managed by the four great-grandchildren of Senator Emery and one great-great-daughter.
