I retired from NYC Fire Department after a 20 year career. I loved the job very much but I felt that it was time to pursue other career opportunities that were a little safer for my health. I was lucky enough to make my 20 years, many did not.In 1994, I started an irrigation service & installation business. My flexible hours withthe FDNY allowed me to work two jobs. I enjoyed the extra income it provided.

The irrigation business is seasonal and there is little work to be done in the Winter.As I became closer to the end of my FDNY career, I knew I would have to find workin the colder months. The oil delivery business seemed like a perfect fit.It took 3 years of planning before I sold my first drop of fuel. I had to get licensed by the State, I needed a tank truck and a place to park it, I needed a place to buy fuel and so much more! Needless to say I am up and running and I sold over 90,000 gallons of fuel in my 8 months. My goal is to sell 1,000,000 gallons by 7/1/17.My business goal is simple : provide FAST / HONEST / DISCOUNT / FUEL to my customers and at the same time create extra income for my family.
