Muirden Energy has former Grampian Country Foods Chairman Fred Duncan as the major partner. Based at the centre of his farming enterprise at Muirden Farm, Turriff, the business was set up in 2009 and has expanded rapidly by operating in partnership with farmers and landowners to develop renewable energy projects.
Muirden Energy are continually looking to expand and opened a new office in Perth in 2015 in response to new sites we have taken on in Central and Southern Scotland.
The business is committed to the development of renewable energy throughout Scotland and work with local landowners to develop, build and operate wind turbine projects. Combining our practical agricultural approach with in-house expertise to the wind energy sector has seen approximately 30 successful projects built to date.
