Norwegian Crystals was founded in 2012, but has a long and proud Nordic heritage in the solar industry. Our state-of-the-art facility in Glomfjord has a capacity of 200 MW to produce pure high-performance monocrystalline materials. Our proprietary pulling process and design, together with cheap and abundant hydro power, enable a competitive cost position.
We also have unique capability to cost-effectively produce both p-type and n-type mono blocks and wafers. This enables us to help our customers push the boundaries of cell efficiency well above 20%. As a result, Norwegian Crystals is fast becoming a sought-after source for mono materials.
Further, we are now proudly introducing our own line of high-performance modules to take advantage of our premium mono material: The Noor line. The Noor solar modules combine our world-class monocrystalline material with leading high-efficiency backside-passivation cell technology. Together with a proven and elegant module design that includes specially selected European and US components, this secures superior power output with minimum losses during its 25 year lifetime.
