Oppure Oil, LLC was founded in 2013 by Mike Hatzopoulos. Mike has nearly 20 years in the home heating oil business, and most recently was General Manager of a medium-sized Massachusetts based oil company servicing thousands of accounts on the North Shore. He has extensive experience in heating oil delivery and oil burner services, having successfully started, and grown from the ground up, the services division for his prior employer. Mike is a United States Navy veteran who served on the USS Augusta SSN710, a fast attack, nuclear submarine.   Oppure Oils name is derived from the companys motto – the opportunity to deliver purely heating oil. Since then, we have seen an incredible explosion in oil pricing. When oil was relatively inexpensive, oil delivery companies had to find additional ways to increase profits, and many became "full service" companies, offering extras such as: oil burner and A/C sales and service, 24 hour service, same day delivery, back-up generators, etc. Providing these additional services significantly increased their costs, thereby increasing the price of oil to their customers.  Now that the cost of oil is much higher, homeowners and businesses are left wondering why they are paying so much for services they dont need or want. Using a full service oil dealer is like flying first class. We, at Oppure Oil, believe that flying coach gets you to the same destination for much less! Auto Delivery

Our automatic delivery is a free, convenient, and stress-free service. Oppure Oils technology assumes the responsibility of checking your oil tank and ordering the fuel for you. Our system prepares a delivery ticket when your tank is one-quarter to a half full, with an average delivery of 160 gallons. The system knows if you burn pellets, wood, or coal in addition to heating fuel. It knows when its winter, spring, summer, and fall. Thus after every delivery it is learning your heating habits and accounts for them. The automatic program is simply a convenient service; there is no contract, and this service can be started and stopped any time.

How We Do It

• We focus on operating at the lowest fixed cost possible. You wont see shiny, top-of-the-line oil trucks or the nicest office space in the best part of town. These items would obviously increase our costs!
• Most households in America make sacrifices involving purchases. Oppures mission statement reminds us that we operate debt free. If we cant pay for it with cash, we dont buy it. We have no debt such as, mortgage and credit card payments. These expenses increase the cost of doing business.
• we keep our cost down because we just deliver oil. The more services offered, the higher the cost. More services mean more employees, space, supplies, technology, equipment, etc. Oppure Oil is different! We offer home and business heating oil delivery at a reduced cost to you. •  minimum delivery is 125 gallons. It would cost us more to delivery only 50 gallons, thereby increasing your cost. 
• Even if your name is Tom Brady, you still have to use your credit card. Even number 12 has the same guidelines as you. After nearly 20 years in the business and having survived the biggest recession since the Great Depression, we have felt the pain of unpaid receivables.   
• The price is the price. We are labeled by full service companies as a “discount company” and they are right! All our customers get the same low price. Its that simple.
•  Last Spring I decided to build a patio using brick pavers. My lack of experience caused me to waste time and money trying to make it come out right. When I finally finished this project, I told my wife, “If I could just start over, it would come out so much better.” Heating oil has been my career since 1995. When we receive your order through our website, the entire process is fully automated. This helps us minimize our staffing needs and the savings are passed on to you.
• Same day delivery costs money, lots of it!  Oppure Oil automatically routes trucks to drive the least number of miles, while maximizing the number of deliveries. The more we drive, the more it costs you. Planning your delivery helps us save time and money that, again, is passed on to you. If we take a driver off the route to handle a same day delivery or hire an additional driver to do last minute same day deliveries, it forces us to increase our costs, which is contrary to our Mission Statement. We will make every effort to get heating oil to you within two business day. All you have to do is plan your delivery.
• Some oil companies try to justify their prices by promoting their product. For the most part, heating oil is all the same. After refining, heating oil travels to a distribution terminal. We all fill up at the same place with the same oil. Like all purchases, you compare “apples to apples." Heating oil is heating oil.
