Documentation and Training
PIC’s documentation center, centrally located at our corporate headquarters, provides clients with accurate and user-friendly procedures written by skilled professionals on field-proven templates. Our exceptionally qualified documentation team has extensive plant operation and technical writing experience. Utilizing industry best practices and writing guides, we ensure that each document fits into your plant’s operational philosophy. PIC develops custom interactive training animations to support plant training and asset management. Training is modular to compliment BOP/Unit training procedures and includes audio narration. Customers using the animation modules see improved operator response behaviors to balance scenarios. Training content is based on site asset analysis with PIC’s DOE formatted O&M procedures.
Start-up and Commissioning
PIC’s start-up and commissioning teams provide smooth transitions from construction to operation—quickly and efficiently. We work under a managed program to ensure a safely commissioned and tested plant that meets all expectations for performance, reliability and maintainability. PIC offers contract flexibility, including fixed price, time & material, time & material not-to-exceed, incentive based, and performance based contracts. All services are available as a complete turnkey offering or can be individually selected to create custom service packages.
PIC’s mechanical services are performed by some of the world’s leading specialists and technicians. PIC has over 20 years of experience delivering quality projects safely, on time and within budget. Services range from boiler maintenance and repair to specialty welding and rigging, to fully managed, turnkey outages. Projects include access to full-time project managers and superintendents, extended tenure and mandatory OSHA 30 supervision. All tooling and equipment is supplied by PIC, and qualified candidates are recruited from an active database with 5,000+ craft personnel.
Operations and Maintainence
Plants operating with an integrated maintenance program are safer, more reliable and function more efficiently while returning higher output levels. Whether it’s a major or minor maintenance contract, PIC’s expert O&M division helps facility owners realize improved plant performance. From start to finish, we work with you to ensure a full integration of the maintenance program into the plant’s operational schedule. Because we are a true third-party provider, we offer all the benefits of OEM experience with no strings attached.
