PolarSol company was established in February 2009. Our objective is to establish the production of a highly efficient solar collector made of corrosion-resistant steel and solar energy saving systems for the municipal and private sector.
In a couple of years, we walked along the path from an idea on paper to the large-scale solar collector and solar system production. The partnership and close co-operation with research, design and production organisations of Finland and other European countries allowed PolarSol to move forward in developing energy supply systems for the cold climate.
As of now, PolarSol has obtained all grants available in Finland in the field of energy conservation and non-conventional energy sources. Our work and assistance from our partners resulted not only in an idea, but also in the material implementation of the solar space heating systems using the free energy of the Sun!
We are proud that the first standalone solar heating system in the world capable of operating efficiently in cold-climate conditions is named PolarSol!
