PrimeStar Solar, Inc. was a manufacturer of thin film photovoltaic solar modules using CdTe thin films.  The Company was incorporated in 2006.  There were two company locations Arvada. CO, Corporate Headquarters and Manufacturing Facility, and Montague, MI, Equipment Center.  The company was acquired by GE Energy in 2011.  In August 2013, GE announced an IP sharing and commercial partnership with First Solar.  At the same time, GE announced the end of its CdTe solar manufacturing operations.
