In 1960, Shuqualak, Mississippi native James “Jimmy” Prince opened his own  petroleum marketing business in Philadelphia, MS – Prince Oil Company. Throughout the tumultuous decades of the 60’s and 70’s, there were many bumps in the road, but Jimmy never gave up and his work ethic paid off. Jimmy stood by the premise that the customer is always right, building a legacy that has stood the test of time.  He later handed the reins of the company to his three youngest children who expanded the company – adding convenience stores and even casual dining to its repertoire. Like their father, they seek to please the customer, make a difference in the community, and be known as a company of integrity.

Fuel Transport

Prince Oil subsidiary Philadelphia Energy Transport Company offers direct delivery of oil & gas throughout Mississippi and coastal Alabama—to the company’s own wholesale, C-Stores and others who sell their fuel on a contract basis. With a fleet of trucks, the company is poised for growth and has fleet available for common carry contracts.

Prince Oil wholesales a wide variety of fuels —from recognized brands such as, Citgo, Shell, Chevron, Marathon, and others.

Wholesale Lubricants

In addition to gasoline, Prince Oil wholesales a wide variety of lubricants and more in both full and fractional barrels—from recognized brands such as, Citgo, Shell, and others.

C-Stores

Prince Oil owns & operates several combination convenience stores throughout Mississippi. The company also makes its products available on a consignment basis, contracting with independent dealers in the filling station, convenience store and counter-based foodservice business.
