Founded in 2004, Reco Biodiesel is one of Virginia’s largest manufacturer of biodiesel. With an annual production capacity of five million gallons from our state of the art Richmond, VA blending facility, we have the ability to market our fuel to petroleum distributors and end users, both large and small.  Our facility is located in the Shockoe Bottom district of downtown Richmond at the confluence of I-64 and I-95, just five to ten minutes away from all of the major fueling terminals allowing for convenient pickup and delivery

• A fully operable blending facility which can blend biodiesel/diesel blends at any preference
• A “Scully Loading System” which can load biodiesel at a speed of 400 GPM (gallons per minute).
• Equipment to handle a variety of feedstocks, including soy bean oil and used cooking oil
• An on-site laboratory, which ensures that every drop of biodiesel we produce meets ASTM D 6751 standards.

Biodiesel is a domestically produced, renewable fuel that can be manufactured from vegetable oils, animal fats, or recycled restaurant grease for use in diesel vehicles or any equipment that operates on diesel fuel. Biodiesel’s physical properties are similar to those of petroleum diesel.
