Remora Oil & Gas is a leading independent oil and gas exploration and production company with offices in Houston, Texas.  Remora’s operations are focused on South Texas assets with an emphasis on high water cut oil fields.  Remora deploys superior systems and technology to older oil fields in order to increase production.  In addition to operating its own properties in South Texas, Remora actively sources and participates in the development of tight oil, horizontal drilling plays.  Remora owns working interest in over 75,000 West Texas acres that Raptor Petroleum II is currently developing.    Remora is currently funded by ESS Funds out of Houston, TX.  The company is actively looking for more acquisitions.  The ideal acquisitions for Remora are high water cut South Texas oil fields in the $100,000 to $10 million range; and acreage plays where Remora believes there may be horizontal potential.
