The Ritter Gruppe is a group of companies lead by the company Ritter Energie – und Umwelttechnik GmbH & Co. KG, that develops, produces and distributes ecological energy systems.

The overall goal of the Ritter Gruppe is to engage for more energy efficiency and for a sustainable climate protection by the use of renewable energy sources.

The goal of the Ritter Gruppe is clearly defined: to deliver global solutions for sustainable development. The great challenges ahead are coupled with high expectations - but this is a path we have travelled over many years.

Due to the devastating aftermath of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor disaster in 1986, the Ritter Sport chocolate hazelnut crop harvest in Turkey was con-taminated. To overcome reliance on nuclear energy and to find alternative and renewable energy sources was the motivation for Mr. Alfred T. Ritter to begin cooperation with Klaus Taafel. In 1988 they established the Paradigma Energie- und Umwelttechnik GmbH.

The adoption of our technologies and innovations are widespread within Germany and at an international level, under the auspices of our Holding, which has been on the market since January 2009.

The overall performance of ecological heating systems based on solar thermal energy is significantly dependent on how efficiently the solar collector converts sunlight into energy. The evacuated tube collectors offered by the Ritter Gruppe lead this sector.

This is primarily thanks to their innovative design which is the result of many years of research and technological innovations. The result: using the evacuated tube collector manufactured by the Ritter Gruppe, it is possible to achieve significantly higher energy yields than with other conventional collectors.

Other system suppliers also benefit from this efficiency when they integrate Ritter Gruppe collectors as OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) products in their solar thermal heating systems. Customised requirements on design can be realised by designers at the Ritter Gruppe as can technical modifications or specifications.

Apart from perfect compatibility, the OEM collector of Ritter is also convincing thanks to its careful workmanship, durability, high-quality design and a fair price/performance ratio.

Consistently high quality in series production, maximum flexibility during order processing and optimum adherence to deadlines are what distinguish OEM products offered by the Ritter Gruppe.

Recognised

All collectors are produced in Dettenhausen fulfill the requirements of the EN 12975 and are awarded with the Solar Keymark label. Ritter collectors have received the very best evaluations by the German “Stiftung Warentest”, as well as from various consumer and environmental magazines.

The collector AQUA PLASMA and CPC azzurro, which are manufactured for Paradigma, were awarded for their outstanding design with the IF Designaward in 2013 and with the Design Award of the German Industrial Forum.
