Established as an independent company in 2007, the engineering team at Roadgas boasts over three decades of CNG experience and has supplied numerous bespoke CNG (grid gas), LNG, LCNG & biomethane installations in the UK and abroad for clients in both the public and private sectors.

Following the installation of its first refuelling station in 1996 in Tunis (Tunisia) and having been subsequently selected to build the UK’s first publicly recognised refuelling station at DIRFT on the M1, Roadgas has since gone on to work on a number of bespoke projects. These include Bulmers Cider, Leeds City Council, Tesco distribution centres in Greenfield & Enfield, B&Q Swindon, Veolia in Sheffield and Stagecoach at its HQ in Sunderland, amongst many others.

In 2012, Roadgas was commissioned by Coca Cola to facilitate the supply of LCNG to fuel its fleet of IVECO Stralis trucks from its Enfield distribution centre. Delivering its products into London and the Olympic Stadium as part of its sponsorship for the London Olympics, Roadgas provided Coca Cola with a bespoke solution that ensured maximum up-time and reliability.

Today, Roadgas also works with third parties to install biogas refuelling station infrastructure around the UK, and executes various LNG development projects for several major truck operators and container shipping operations nationwide.

When required, Roadgas also supplies bespoke temporary solutions prior to full and permanent installation of refuelling stations. This service forms an integral role in the development of its client relationships and their projects.

Paramount to the Roadgas vision is to support partners and clients with gas refuelling infrastructure installation to enable them to enjoy the freedom to purchase biogas from any source.  This, in turn, allows clients to monitor availability, cost structure and profitability.
