Automatic Delivery 

Automatic delivery is available for all of our customers and for all of our products.  Our in-house computerized, degree day scheduling system keeps oil in your tank automatically.  There are many factors which affect oil consumption, including your home size, amount and quality of insulation, equipment efficiency, number of residents, personal habits, vacations, etc. All these factors can be calculated and condensed into a number called a K factor. Each customer has a K factor that is specific to their home.  The computer monitors the changing outdoor temperature, wind speed, and other weather conditions over time. The information is then converted to "degree days". (Degree days is a numeric value which quantifies the effect weather has on your oil consumption.) The computer then combines degree day information with your K factor to determine the actual delivery date for your home.

100% kerosene is the only kerosene that Stadium Oil Heat sells.

  Kerosene is used for heating mobile homes and some construction site heating equipment   Some oil companies sell a blend of heating oil and kerosene called “Mobile Home Mix” we do not recommend this for two main reasons first being that a mix blend will tend to freeze and or gel during cold winter days, the second reason being the heating units in trailer or mobile homes are designed for use with 100% kerosene only, warrantees may be voided if 100% kerosene is not used.  Kerosene is also less toxic than heating therefore can be used enclosed spaces in certain types of space heaters.

On & Off Road Diesel Fuel

Stadium provides the highest quality on road & off road diesel fuel available insuring that during winter months of operation your diesel fuel will not gel and have the lowest pour point during the cold weather operation. Stadium currently supplies snow removal equipment, trucking companies and construction equipment, and we have not experienced one breakdown of any equipment that we have supplied in the last 5 years including our own trucks that deliver the fuel.     The most common type of diesel fuel is a specific petroleum fuel oil; Ultra-low-sulfur diesel (ULSD) is a standard for defining diesel fuel with substantially lowered sulfur contents. As of 2006, almost all of the petroleum-based diesel fuel available in UK, Europe and North America is of a ULSD type.

Heating Oil

Heating oil is commonly delivered by tank truck to residential, commercial and municipal buildings and stored in above-ground storage tanks located in the basements, garages, or outside adjacent to the building. It is sometimes stored in underground storage tanks. Heating oil is less commonly used as an industrial fuel or for power generation   All home heating oil delivered in New England has at least 5% blend of some type of biofuel.   Delivery of fuel is done by our own fleet of trucks.
