Our Companies, Ranches, Farms, Timber, Oil, and Natural Gas History,    The Farms and Ranches Were Established  and Star Oil and Gas Companies were  Established      The Story of one cannot be told without the other.  From Superbly Bred Cattle that Grace it's Pastures to the Oil that Flows in the Depths of the Ground on the Farms as the 21st Century Dawns and the 7 Brothers that Established the Farms and Ranches has all Passed Away the New Generation is now the Operators of a Long Family History Laced with Hard Work Determination, Imagination, Rugged Fair Play and Dedication to a Uniquely Eastern way of life.  Now the Son's and Grandson's and Great- Grandson's have to carry on the great way of life the Patton Family was meant to be. With the Long Lasting Dedication to the Responsible Stewardship of Land and Water Resources of the Farms the One Story Cannot be told with out the other and with the Start of Farming, Ranching, Timber, Construction, Auto  Mechanic Repair Shops, Education, Fishing, Oil and Natural Gas Companies and Land Conservation and Stewardship. The Family has truly became a Storied Family Owned and Operated Businesses Through America's History with 7 Brothers on a mission over 70 years ago to be Good Stewardship of the Land God Blessed them with.  As part of the International Paper Companies and Chevron Oil Companies Partnerships and Holding and Land leases to Larger Oil Companies and Land owned in Texas, North Carolina, Colorado, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, New Jersey, Montana, Georgia, Louisiana, Wyoming, Oregon, New Mexico, Virginia, South Carolina, and California. Encompasses 875,640 Acres Owned, 384,430 Acres Leased and 275,390 Acres of Timber Management Land Owned  and with Government Contracts and Private Investments for Farm Products and Oil and Natural Gas Production Products the Patton Family Companies has a good Future for Generations to come.  However in 1989 Various Land Parcels was Leased and most of the Cattle and Farm Properties was Leased to pave the way for Oil and Natural Gas Production and Drilling and Mining for other Minerals Under and On Top of the Ground and out to Sea and Offshore Drilling for Oil and Natural Gas.  While Farming,  Cattle Breeding and  Raising ,Timber, Construction, Education, Auto Mechanic Repair Shops, Lumber, Building  Materials, Boat and Ship Building were the Cornerstone upon which the Patton Family Companies were Founded.  It was the Discovery of Oil that flows from the Depths under the  Farms and Ranches Ground that allowed the Businesses to grow and led to the Establishment of Star Oil and Gas Companies. The Star Foundation and Patton Financial Group.  Which today benefits so many Worthy Causes Like Homelessness, Personal Loans, Small Business Loans, Grants for Education, Personal Gifts to help people get a New Starts in life.  Animal Awareness and Caring for them and Land Stewardship and Conservation of Nature Wildlife Resources and Environment.  Actual Oil Drilling didn't begin until 1943 the well was a test well to see if their were Oil or Natural Gas under the ground on the Patton Family Farms. There were and the first well was Drilled down to 4,010 ft and Pumped 205 + barrels in the first  24 hours of Operations and now that same well pumps more than 10,000 +barrels per day. Today the Star Oil and Natural Gas Companies owns or control Oil Fields in 19 U.S. States and 9 countries around the World with the Processing of Oil Products and Natural Gas Pumping Stations and Refineries For a Total of 3 Oil and 2 Natural Gas  Refineries 44 Offshore Oil Platforms  and 6 Production Natural Gas Platforms in the Gulf  of Mexico with 3 Drilling For Oil and 2 Drilling for Natural Gas in the Gulf of Mexico and 3 Natural Gas Production Platforms Off the Coast of Australia  3 off the Coast of New Zealand and  Land Wells in Africa. For a Total of 6,609 Land Oil Wells and 1,205 Land Natural Gas Wells with 32,780  Employees.  To say We've done a good job in Business is an Understatement but with trying to do the best with what God has Blessed us with is our main Objective.  Our Family has been Blessed and we try to Bless as many Businesses and Families as we can for a Better Future for People Animals, Wildlife and Nature around the World...
