TALOS Industry Corporation (TALOS) is a worldwide leader in the research and development of new and innovative energy systems. The main focus of TALOS is in state-of-the-art wind turbine technologies.

Since 2005, the engineers of TALOS have developed a series of new wind turbine applications incorporating unique proprietary and internationally patented technologies in the development of an extensive product line of Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT).  As of today, over 3000 units including small wind turbine and medium size VAWT have been installed in more than 60 countries and at all geographic locations. These installations range from the State of Alaska in the United States, Africa, Saudi Arabia, England, the Tajikistan plateau as well as in other island locations. 

The growing line of TALOS' wind turbines includes many new and diverse applications. Our basic small VAWT product line includes 6 different models with the capacity range of 300w, 1kw, 3kw, 5kw, 10kw and 50kw.  Each VAWT offers our patented high survival wind speed capabilities as well as towers ranging from our standard 5.5 meter tower to our 7 meter and our 10 meter tower- each capable of being lowered at a 90° angle when incorporating our innovative hydraulic tower system.

A new, introduction into our product line is our Emergency Energy Kits which includes 2 different models including a 1kw and a 2.5kw. The Emergency Energy Kits are an easy to install, wind/solar/battery combination and are configured for easy installation. The most common application of our Emergency Energy Kits  is generally following such events as a hurricane, earthquake flood or other natural disasters which result in the loss of the power grid.  

TALOS Industry Corporation has also developed a new and unique VAWT presentation designed for rapid positioning when and where needed.  The Mobil Delivery System (MDS) is a unique system that positions a 3kw, 5kw or 10kw VAWT on a mobile truck transport for easy and quick relocation delivering an immediate power source. The Mobil Delivery System also has the ability to include a solar/battery system onto the same delivery system. When required, the MDS is driven to the location, the tower of the VAWT is raised and the energy is immediately made available to the load. When no longer needed, the system is lowered and the MDS is driven away.

The reliable performance and versatility of the TALOS' VAWT systems offers many new innovative uses including hybrid street lighting, off-shore platforms, power for remote mining  locations as well as delivering a reliable and continued source of energy to aircraft landing lights and radar tracking systems.

The unique technology that makes our system technology stand-out is based upon the "active real-time pitch attack angle regulation" theory that was initially designed by TALOS engineers in 2005. In 2006, the first international patent was issued to this technology which was following by the issuance of a U.S. patent in 2010.

In 2014 and based on the "active real-time pitch attack angle regulation" theory, Mr. John Yan, the President and CEO of TALOS Industry Corporation took his patented design and configured a new and exciting wind turbine technology which is the latest development in wind energy, the “Super Wind Turbine”. This technology allows the Super Wind Turbine to automatically adjust the angle of the blades to accommodate varying wind speeds including momentary and substantial wind gusts.

The SUPER WIND TURBINE technology is a state-of-the-art technology in large wind turbines capable of delivering 7 megawatts to 50 megawatts of peak power. It makes wind turbine Output Peak Control possible competing against a large scale HAWT (Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine) with the output greater than 1.5MW.
