TEPA residential deposit will be

1) $200.00 (in addition to any connection fee or membership fees)

If customer will allow TEPA to run a credit report, the customer's deposit will have the possibility of being tiered in such manner

Low Credit risk $50.00

Moderate Credit risk $100.00

High Credit risk $200.00

**If customer stays at current location for 30 months and pays no penalty charge they will be eligible to have their deposit lowered to $50.00 and if applicable will be refunded the difference.

COMMERCIAL

Commercial Deposit for the purpose of creating a business

All new commercial applicants that are requesting electric service for the purpose of establishing a business will need to pay a deposit equal to 2 times the average bill at said location, or $250.00 deposit whichever is greater. If there is not an established billing history, there will be estimation made of possible electric usage which may be re-evaluated at a later date.

**Commercial Business that falls under our GSA-1 General Power Rate

- This would be customers that have a 12 month demand history of less that 50kw.

- Or customers that have less than 15,000 kwh of usage.
Will be evaluated on a yearly basis and if after 5 years of service at the same location and having had no late fees during this time, will have their security deposit lowered to 1 times the average bill over the last 12 months.

This policy will be for all new customers starting on May 1, 2010. Established customers as of this date will be exempt from TEPA's new commercial deposit policy.

All other Commercial Accounts (Rental Property, Shops, Barns, Etc.)

These Commercial Accounts may or may not be subject to a $100.00 security deposit based on the following criteria:

1) Established customer with an excellent pay rating; No security deposit is required.

2) New Customers or established customers without an excellent pay rating, will be required to pay a $100.00 security deposit.
