Valley Energy has been talking energy for more than 50 years. Our founder, Walter Murphy, opened the doors to Capitol Fuel in the early 1960’s to provide coal to homeowners in Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland. Capitol Fuel changed with the times and expanded operations, now operating as Valley Energy Company.  Valley Energy is still family run, owned and operated by Walter’s children and grandchildren out of our facility in Purcellville, Virginia. With more than 50 years of experience in the energy industry, Valley Energy has developed strong supply relationships with major energy companies. We’re known for our safety standards and state-of-the-art service and products. AUTOMATIC DELIVERY

Many of our customers enjoy the reliability of Automatic Delivery. This convenient service offers peace of mind particularly when winter storms are forecasted! For those with pool heaters, water heaters and/or generators the service can continue year-round, scheduled as necessary.

Heating Oil

Valley Energy has more than 50 years of experience in the home heating oil industry. We are committed to providing your family with the dependable, hometown service you have come to expect from a locally owned company.Our goal is to offer the best service and the lowest possible price all winter long. We offer automatic delivery and a SmartPay budget plan to help you better manage your energy costs.  Valley Energy is pleased to offer custom service contracts to our oil-buying customers. We offer comprehensive programs to make sure your furnace or boilers continue to serve you efficiently for years to come. Our technicians are highly trained to industry standards and have many years of experience providing a professional job each and every time.

Oil Burner Services

Additional service or replacement of parts will be billed on a time and material basis. Special prices for additional units available. Cleaning scheduled between September 15th and March 1st will be billed at a time and material rate.

Oil Equipment Sales & Service

Valley Energy has an outstanding service department with many years of valuable experience in the field. With our extensive experience we can confidently recommend an excellent selection of equipment that will best fit your needs

Equipment Contracts, which can be as simple as an annual tune-up or a comprehensive plan covering the major furnace/boiler parts as well as labor during normal working hours, are also available.  We offer Equiguard® Inc., a complete warranty service for new, as well as properly maintained older furnaces, boilers, and water heaters, at a very reasonable rate.

Diesel Exhaust Fluid 

 Valley Energy has two active pumps for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) at our fueling station. Look for the white fuel container labeled #16 on one side and #17 on the other! The station is open 24/7, and located at 103 Hirst Road, Purcellville, VA 20132.  Our site has space for any size commercial truck to fill their DEF tank, simply swipe a CFN Fleetwide card or a credit card and begin fueling.
