Vitruvian Exploration has a successful history of merging our strategic and tactical talents with strong capital funding from our partner, QEP, predicting strong value creation in our future projects. In its short history, Vitruvian Exploration generated numerous unconventional prospects and captured leasehold in multiple, significant unconventional oil and gas plays. We have proven our concepts through efficient drilling and completion operations, ramped up production and reserves, and sold our oil and gas assets for significant Returns on Investment. We anticipate Vitruvian IV, LLC will create similar value in the near future. Vitruvian Exploration – static in form, dynamic in vision and results.

Our History

• Starting in 2009 with small CBM assets from a restructured entity, Vitruvian created significant organic value by leasing and delineating over 200,000 acres in the emerging Mississippian Oil Resource Play.
• Supported by an initial $250 million commitment from QEP in August 2012, VEXII quickly entered the emerging SCOOP play. Strategic growth, delineation and development of the position resulted in its February 2017 sale to Gulfport Energy for $1.85 billion.
• Teaming with QEP again in December 2015, VEX III quickly built a non-operated position in the core of the STACK play. In April of 2017 the asset was sold to a private equity backed company generating a 2.5X for VEX III investors.
• In March 2017, teaming for a third time with QEP and supported by an initial $450 million equity commitment, Vitruvian Exploration IV, LLC was formed and has established a substantial foothold in the overpressured dry gas window of the Eagle Ford.
