Bio History

Wellspring Solar is a division of Wellspring Components LLC. We are a family-owned and operated business established in 1995 selling and installing off-grid and grid-tie solar and battery systems for residential, commercial, agricultural and mobile applications. We are located in the outskirts of a small town in Northern Indiana. We are a full service distributor and installer for many renewable energy products and services.  Wellspring Solar currently employees seven full-time employees. We have over 30 years of combined experience in the renewable energy industry. We operate out of our 17,000 square foot facility in Shipshewana, Indiana. We not only install and sell renewable energy products, we use renewable resources in our homes and everyday lives.  Wellspring Solar has been involved with over 3 million watts of solar installations and 20 million watts of energy storage deployed since we have been in business. Off-grid solar and energy storage systems is our specialty. We also manufacture custom solar solutions for whatever application one might have.

Services

• We offer consulting on all of our products and services by appointment.  We strongly believe that a well educated customer can make a much better purchase decision.
• We have a great team of skilled personnel to install the products and systems we design.  With our great team and cutting edge technology, we are able to find and repair problems in your system to allow for proper performance with minimal down times.
• We ship products on our own trucks within a serviceable area from our warehouse and ship via UPS Ground on a daily basis.  We provide shipping to all 50 states via Ground or Truck freight.  We also offer shipment directly to your job site or drop shipped to your customer.
• We are a stocking warehouse.  If you order from us, we will ship from our 12,000 square foot warehouse in Indiana.  By stocking and shipping the products ourselves, we can better assure availability and quality control.

Wellspring Renewable Energy has a broad range of experience designing and installing grid-tie systems of all sizes for agricultural, commercial, custom and residential applications.  Wellspring employs the latest grid-tie technology leveraging SolarEdge components  to optimize solar output.  We walk with you through the entire process-from basic feasibility to studies with accurate return on investment calculations, from grant writing and installation to full life cycle support.

Located in the heart of the RV industry, it’s only natural that Wellspring Renewable Energy offers some of the best solar system solutions for your RV.  Several of our employees have backgrounds in RV production.  We leverage their experience with our expertise in solar to provide customers with high quality, innovative mobile solar solutions.  Our customers love their mobile solar solutions that allow them to power their RV anywhere the sun is shining.
