LED Lighting

WindSolarUSA has partnered with LightEdison, an experienced lighting developer with manufacturer-direct relationships, to provide LED lighting solutions for all types of businesses through professional evaluative/financing services. Unlike other lighting providers, we work with our customers to offer customized solutions that will not only lower their lighting energy consumption resulting in utility savings each month, but will also increase lumen output to better highlight their products for increased sales as well as promote employee productivity and safety. Not in the budget? No problem! Read about our "Technology Subscription" to learn how you can go LED today with no money down and let the savings pay for your upgrade.

Initial Consultation

Are you interested in learning more about renewable energy for your home, business or farm? Take advantage of our free, no-obligation consultation! Well talk with you about your goals and objectives for your energy future and help you to decide which technology and application will work best for you. Additionally, we can inform you of possible funding opportunities that may help to offset the cost of your system and reduce the number of years it takes to pay for itself, which is generally between three to ten years for a system that is warranted to perform 25-30 years.

Take the next step towards a renewable project with a WindSolarUSA, Inc. Certified Site Assessment that will provide you with the following benefits:

  • General information about your site
  • Detailed information about how you can increase your energy efficiency/reduce your current load
  • Photo examples of different systems and their options
  • Professional analysis and detailed description of the optimum location for you to place your renewable system to maximize production
  • An analysis of your current annual electrical consumption
  • Production estimate
  • An analysis of your current annual electrical consumption
  • Calculation of the size of system required to meet your current and/or projected load
  • Monthly production estimate of what your system will produce
  • A complete listing of the various grants, rebates and incentives available to finance your system
  • Estimated system cost
  • Financial analysis inclusive of estimated electricity escalation rates and incentives available to project a detailed return on investment over the life of the system

How is solar radiation relevant to solar power?

We determine an areas ability to produce solar power by its SUN-HOURS. Sun-hours are derived by taking a particular locations solar radiation over time to arrive at an average figure used when determining the size of solar system that will be necessary to power a building located in that area. In Central Illinois, our average sun-hours are 4.6. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) offers maps that have been compiled using 30 years of data.

Wind Resource

The best resource in Illinois for wind is fall, winter and spring. The average wind speed in Sangamon County is about 7m/s. 1 m/s = 2 1/4 miles per hour. 7 m/s= 15.75 mph which is a great resource!

Let WindSolarUSA size a solar system for you!

WindSolarUSA, Inc. will use solar radiation data for your location coupled with a review of twelve months power bills to determine what size solar system you will need to meet your present load. In addition, we can make recommendations on energy efficiency and other ways to reduce your present consumption, thus requiring a smaller system to meet your load. Energy Management

The first step to any renewable energy project is energy efficiency. New advances in the energy management arena allow consumers today to not only upgrade to more energy efficient products such as LED lamps and Energy Star appliances at the residential level, but also highly efficient LED lighting fixtures with motion sensors that come on and go off as rooms/outside areas are accessed. More advanced commercial systems may include programmable zoning for lighting and "smart" thermostats that are zoned and programmed to respond to the users needs by facility maintenance managers. The financial savings generated from implementing energy management practices can be used to pay not only for the equipment necessary to complete the energy efficiency upgrades, but also to pay for a portion of a complimentary renewable system to further self-sufficiency. WindSolarUSA, Inc. can provide an energy audit to advise where potential savings opportunities exist, analyze what that savings will be over time, provide quotes for the equipment necessary to complete those upgrades, and finally, design and quote a renewable system for a turn-key energy management solution that provides efficiency, a level of self-sufficiency and carbon emission reductions to preserve our environment.
