The Womble family has owned and operated Womble Company, Inc. since 1972. Womble Company, Inc. is a leading provider of internal and external pipeline coating systems.  Womble Company, Inc. estimates that the amount of pipe that it has coated could circle the earth at least three times.

Womble Company, Inc. operations now span more than 400 acres that include seven facilities in the greater Houston area:  the Sheffield corporate headquarters, the Main Yard, the West Yard, the North Yard, the Greensport Yard, the Kelley Street Yard and two yards previously owned by LaBarge  -- the South Sheldon Yard and the Shields Street Yard both in Channelview, Texas.

After 40 years working with the Pipeline Industry applying protective coatings the opportunity arose for us to create something different… something ground breaking.
