 For the past 26 years Boojum Research Limited has designed, implemented, monitored and documented the treatment of acidic, mine waste waters and the remediation of mine sites in Canada (Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan), Brazil and Germany. Boojum Research utilizes the ecological principles by which ecological systems sequester contaminants, reduce acidity and regain vitality. This is accomplished by assisting these systems with appropriate inputs of energy and material. In keeping with the principles of ecological engineering, Boojum has endeavored, in all of its projects, to develop solutions that are environmentally sustainable, economic and effective over the long-term. Our projects have been carried out in co-operation with various mining companies the National Research Council of Canada, and the Natural Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada.
