About Company

Incorporated in 2009, Diacarbon is a privately-owned B.C based company who is a leader in the development of biochar technology and the production of biochar. Diacarbon’s thermal biomass refinery (TBR) technology employs a continuous process pyrolysis to convert lower-value biomass into higher energy biofuels and products. Diacarbon’s TBR technology helps bridge the gap between the demand for biofuels, sustainable agriculture, and the abundant supply of biomass waste currently available globally. This allows low value waste streams from the forestry, agricultural, and urban sectors to be converted into higher value char that can be used as bio-coal for a carbon-neutral drop-in replacement for coal and biochar for soil amendment in improving soil health.

Diacarbon is committed to applying practical and realistic technology to provide our community with carbon-neutral and carbon-negative products that benefit the planet. Our company’s objective is to produce renewable fuels from biomass providing waste solutions for pulp and paper, forest, and agriculture industries. Founded in British Columbia, we are a Canadian company with a drive and commitment to make a difference by industrializing new technology that benefits society.
