We are a rural gas co-operative that was established in 1972 to distribute natural gas to our members. The Gas Coop serves members located within the Lac La Biche County and part of Athabasca County. In addition to our rural franchise area, we also serve the residents of The Meadows within the town of Lac La Biche. Our current customer base is now over 2,100. Our customers are served by our 8 full-time employees and 7 Board Members. We build, operate and maintain our own pipeline and are on-call 24 hours a day to respond to gas-odour calls and natural gas emergencies. The Lac La Biche District Natural Gas Co-op Ltd. is a member of the Federation of Alberta Gas Co-ops. Together with other members of the Federation, we are the largest rural gas system in the world.

Lac La Biche District Natural Gas Co-Op Safely & Efficiently supplies and distributes Natural Gas to our members and customers through a member owned distrubution system.
