Moncton Propane was established in 1994 as an independent contract company, providing only installations and service. Several years later after Abbie had learned the ins and outs of the trade and established relationships with business owners and home owners, he decided to expand. He convinced his friend, Glen Hoar, to invest and they took the company and its services to the next level with bulk propane deliveries.  In 1996, Moncton Propane Services was born. After purchasing a bulk truck and first load of propane, they began making deliveries to the Moncton area. At that time Abbie and Glen needed to make evening runs to Truro for propane refills. With their ever-expanding list of satisfied customers, Glen and Abbie decided it was time to buy an additional bulk truck and build a bulk propane plant.  We are presently serving nearly 4000 customers. With our expanded staff, we are now able to make deliveries as far as Sussex and Miramichi. We hope to provide services to Fredericton and Saint John in the near future.
