 Preformed Line Products (Canada) Limited has been manufacturing in Canada since 1985. Our ISO 9001 certified facility serves communications, transmission and distribution power utilities, solar, tower and antenna, metal building and agricultural customers across Canada. Our product offering includes: PREFORMED™ re-enterable splice closures and pedestals for fiber, copper and buried service wire; strand and open wire products, wildlife protection, POWER-FAB® Solar racking systems, Charpypoleline hardware and substation components. We also provide project specific designs for solar racking, poleline hardware and suspension/dead-end transmission string set assemblies.

Preformed Line Products has been a supplier to Electric Power and Telecommunications utilities in the international market since the mid-1950s. Today, PLP® maintains wholly-owned subsidiaries in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Great Britain, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Spain and Thailand. These foreign operations work in unison to provide PLP with outstanding global market coverage and customer service in more than 100 countries around the world.

In addition to manufacturing our traditional products, many of our international operations provide products uniquely suited to meet the needs of their customers. Export operations

A major function of the International Operations Department involves the exporting of products to markets not covered by our subsidiaries and their specified export territories, or in instances where the product is only produced in the United States. Those markets are served by domestic manufacturing operations and include the following countries:

• Asia (Bangladesh, Philippines)

• South America (Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Surinam, Venezuela)

• Central America (Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama)

• Carribean Region (Neth. Antilles, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Trinidad & Tobago, British Virgin Islands, Anquilla, Barbados, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Aruba, Jamaica, Bermuda, Antiqua)

A majority of the products supplied by Export Operations involve the Electric Power Utility and Telecommunications markets. Sales are directed through a network of qualified representatives, distributors, and export houses.
