SeeO2 creates symmetrical electrolysis cells based on proprietary electro catalysts . Our transformative technology captures carbon emissions and economically converts CO2 into valuable chemical building blocks like CO, syn gas, methane and oxygen. Our cells can be readily combined with solid oxide fuel cell technology to create a scalable a solution for converting and storing waste CO2 emissions as fuels, natural gas, plastics and consumer products for a carbon neutral world.

One of our initial targets will be onsite generation of CO and O2 for the production of carbon neutral chemicals for the consumer products industry. We have partnered with a leading utility company to use our proprietary solid oxide electrolysis cells to convert renewable energy (such as solar or wind), carbon dioxide and water into syngas (carbon monoxide and hydrogen). The syngas is then converted to methane, which can be used in existing natural gas infrastructure. The result is carbon-neutral energy storage and delivery, using the entire natural gas network like a battery for renewable energy.
