TS&M Supply distributes a full line of oilfield & industrial products. It provides service, repair & technical assistance for Centron fiberglass, bottom-hole pumps, PC pumps, Multiplex pumps, and safety equipment. It also has a full service shop for pumps, valves, meters, gauges, etc.

History

In 1973 TS&M Supply was purchased by three local Estevan businessmen, and in 1976 took on a fourth owner. It would be interesting to know if these four men’s dreams and expectations for their little company came anywhere close to the reality that TS&M Supply grew into. Their business philosophy was simple. Complete dedication to both product knowledge and customer service. This is still the cornerstone for TS&M Supply’s continuing success today. In January 1997 TS&M Supply was sold to a larger chain of stores, and sold once again in 1998 to become part of National Oilwell Varco. In May of 2012 CE Franklin was purchased by NOV. This acquisition was another great addition to the TS&M business group adding 5 more locations and several great employees with many years of experience and knowledge that added to the TS&M footprint. These additions in our local surrounding communities enable us to better support our customers. In June of 2014 National Oilwell Varco completed the spinoff of Distribution NOW and TS&M became part of that family.  Distribution NOW is a successful large multinational company but through all the years they have recognized the value of the TS&M Supply brand and we have maintained our local identity. Our TS&M head office is still located here in Estevan and the business is still managed by a group of local people.  Perhaps one of the biggest factors in setting TS&M Supply apart from the competition is its firm belief in supporting their community at a local level. They are very proud of the fact that they are now, and have always been, a very active Community Leader and supporter. Fortunately, DNOW shares this belief and has allowed them to continue what they started so many years ago. Although it began as a one store business, TS&M Supply has currently expanded into twenty-two locations.  They now have branches in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta, Ontario & North Dakota, currently employing about 190 people. Industrial Sales

We currently have 4 locations committed to providing the best customer service and products for your industrial needs. We have access to a large inventory of pipe, valves, flanges and fittings to help ensure that we can fill your order in a timely manner.  TS&M Supply Winnipeg specializes in the supply and installation of various types of valve actuators. At the moment TS&M Winnipeg has two employees fully trained in the Automax brand of actuators. Each actuator is designed exactly for your system specific requirements. 

Automation

Many aspects of the oil and gas industry rely on motor driven pumps and pumping systems. To ensure maximum profitability it is important for these motors to be keeping everything running at optimum performance. In 2009, TS&M opened an Automation Department to focus on exactly that. We currently employ 3 full time technicians covering Southeast Saskatchewan and Southwest Manitoba utilizing intelligent pump fill optimizing Variable Speed Drives (VSD), stand-alone Pump Off Controller’s (POC), and Manual Speed Adjustment VSD’s to not only save wellsite equipment, but increase production.  Because a VSD can regulate the motor speed they are effective for controlling the amount of energy used. As the well matures, it becomes imperative to match the natural or artificially created inflow within the pay zone. As the inflow fluctuates the VSD or POC allow for more control of how fast the surface equipment moves reducing wear and tear. Many motors in use today are started up at full speed and remain that way while in use, while requiring costly sheave changes and downtime to change the speed. A VSD can be used to mitigate that cost by modulating the motor speed. This in turn lowers energy usage and failure frequency.

Pipe, Valves & Fittings

TS&M is the largest supplier of PVF supply in the Saskatchewan/Manitoba corridor. The TS&M Distribution Center, located in Estevan, carries a large amount of physical PVF inventory on its shelves at any given time. This allows TS&M the flexibility PVF material being sent to our branch network on a daily basis to ensure adequate inventory levels at each of TS&M 12 branch locations. In addition to this, TS&M has the luxury of being able to pull inventory for the DNOW Distribution Center in Edmonton which keeps on hand a large amount of inventory and is readily available for overnight shipments.
