Iraq’s Weekly Oil Exports to US Drop Sharply as Jordan Shipments Expand

SEATTLE (Oil Monster): Iraq’s weekly crude oil exports to the United States dropped sharply to just 75 barrels per day, according to the latest data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). This marks a decline of 360 barrels per day compared with the previous week, when Iraq shipped around 435 barrels per day to the US market.

Overall, US crude oil imports averaged about 5.8 million barrels per day from nine major supplier countries last week, up roughly 930 barrels per day week-on-week, the EIA said. Canada continued to dominate US supply flows, delivering approximately 4.26 million barrels per day, followed by Mexico, Brazil, and Nigeria.
