SEATTLE (Oil Monster):Woodside Energy Group Ltd reported a year-on-year expansion in its oil and gas reserves, closing 2025 with total proven and probable (2P) reserves of approximately 3 billion barrels of oil equivalent (Bboe). After adjusting for asset sales and annual output, proved reserves rose by 134.1 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe), while combined proved and probable reserves increased by 141.0 MMboe. The company attributed the gains to solid operational delivery and technical reassessments across its asset base.

Total production for 2025 reached 211.4 MMboe, of which 197.7 MMboe was marketed and 13.7 MMboe was utilized internally for operations. The divestment of producing fields in Greater Angostura, Trinidad and Tobago, to Perenco reduced developed 1P and 2P reserves, along with 2C resources.

Reserve additions were driven by improved reservoir performance and updated technical evaluations in Australia, Senegal, and the United States, including stronger-than-expected output from Pluto and continued momentum at Sangomar.
