SEATTLE (Oil Monster): On the Norwegian Continental Shelf, the Polish corporation ORLEN's Norwegian affiliate has begun extracting from the Andavare field. As a result, the business currently runs 21 fields around Norway. It is anticipated that Orlen will get about 300 million cubic meters of natural gas from the new field.
The Norne field run by Equinor is adjacent to the Andavare field in the Norwegian Sea. 53 producing wells are connected to the floating production, storage, and offloading unit (FPSO) of the Norne field. The Baltic Pipe pipeline carries Orlen's portion of the gas from the Karsto terminal to Poland. Orlen has stake in fields like Alve and Marulk, which are supported by the FPSONorne.

Orlen has finished the third stage of the Ormen Lange field earlier this August. Additionally, in one of the biggest discoveries in recent years, the business and its partners found the Omega Alfa field in the North Sea.
The well-developed infrastructure on the Norwegian continental shelf will help to drastically lower the costs of starting production, providing an alluring return on investment, according to Wieslaw Prugar, Orlen's Management Board Member for Exploration and Production. He stated that the business anticipates recovering its capital investment in around four months.
